Anahit - Zend name Anahita, Parthian Anahit which is the name of an old Persian goddess also worshiped in Armenia. It consists of a negative suffix and ahita "unpleasant" i.e. "pleasant", "pure". It is in use since time immemorial till now.
Pogosyan - Poghossian, Pogossyan, Poghosyan, Poghosian, Pogosyan, etc., is an Armenian surname. The Western Armenian equivalent is Boghossyan.
